It's good to be home. 2008 sees the return of cricket to the Lowdham Cricket Ground. Our hearty thanks goes out to East Bridgeford, Car Colston and East Leake for helping us through some hard time during the floods of 2007, and as much as we were made welcome by each of the clubs at their fantastic grounds, Lowdham Cricket Ground is were we belong.
Both the 1st XI and the 2nd XI will be playing their home matches at Lowdham this year. The 1st XI are looking for promotion, and perhaps have the best bowling attack in the their league. Whilst the 2nd XI will be focusing on brining through the younger players to challenge for places in the 1st XI.
Lowdham Cricket Club is a community cricket club, with strong links to most areas of Lowdham and surrounding areas. We are always looking to organise community events and would dearly love members of the community to get involved in the club in whatever aspect they choose.
Lowdam Cricket Club is always delighted to have spectators and supporters drop by on a saturday to see how their teams are doing. The kettles always on the boil, so drop in and have a cuppa whilst you watch the game.
