A fantastic Saturday saw both Lowdham teams win. The wins were made even more remarkable as both teams had not won for over 3 months and were planted firmly to the bottom of their respective divisions and they were both playing the top team in their divisions. Well done lads, top results. |

It's been nearly 3 months since a Lowdham saturday side can boast a win. In fact between them Lowdham's two saturday sides have not won since the 2nd game of the season. Just 2 wins in 24 games. Each side remain rock bottom of their respective divisions.
Here's hoping for a better end to the season. |

The Next Lowdham Cricket Club Committee meeting will be held on Tuesday 30th of September 2008. All members are welcome and encouraged to attend.
There is no meeting in August. |

The 2nd XI will be playing two less games this season as Nottingham Victoria have dropped out of there league. They are unable to raise a side for the coming season. |

Lowdham Appoint New 2nd XI Captain |
Lowdham would like to welcome the new 2nd XI skipper, Tony Meats. Everyone at Lowdham wishes Tony the best, and lets hope he can build on the success that was installed by the outgoing skipper Ray.
Lowdham would like to thank Ray for all the hard work he has put into skippering the 2nd XI. It's not the easiest job in the world. Ray has made himself available for selection for the 1st XI in a concert effort to move the club forward. |

Lowdham Get ECB help |
The devastating Lowdham Floods left L.C.C. in a bit of a pickle. The flood destroyed the cricket square, pavilion and most of the Lowdham equipment. But thanks to a grant from the ECB Lowdham are able to address essential needs. We would like to thank all the people at the ECB who took the time to help us out. |
